Hello from Chicago

Hello all. Soon to be first time snake owner. Hopefully within the next 2 weeks. Have owned plenty of reptiles in my past but this will be my first go at snakes.

I am stuck between a ball python and a smaller locality boa i.e Mexican (Tarahumara mountain or Sonoran), Central American (not Columbian). I like the idea that boas generally are more curious and adventurous and good eaters. Whereas the BPs are more mellow, lax and are sometimes stubborn eaters.

I have been scouring the forum for quite some time now and just wanted to pop in and say hello!
