He hasn't tried to strike me in a month or so(the first week I had him). The last time, he did the face rub thing he relaxed in my hand for 30 mins afterwards without moving. As if sleeping. Always loose in the hand and never acts annoyed. But yeah, I'll watch for a bite or if that's just his thing. I would think in the last 10+ times he did that, he wouldve already tried to nap at me or atleast got into position to strike.
