Cool Found 3 snakes today [photos & videos]

Found one Eastern Milk (Lampropeltis triangulum triangulum) and two Eastern Garters (Thamnophis sirtalis sirtalis) on a walk today. First good herp pics of the season so I thought I'd share!

This little guy was feisty. He must've bit me about five times, at least. He was just big enough for it to draw blood, too. I even managed to get a video of him lunging at the camera.

His poor little back had been broken at some point, but it looked like it happened some time ago. Fairly heavy scarring, but the injury didn't seem to hinder the little guy.

This little garter was my second find. After the initial musking this tiny little guy calmed right down and sat in my hand, motionless, for a few minutes. Great chance to take some photos!
