I'd switch the substrate to cypress mulch to raise the humidity a bit. Or at the very least give him a moist hide (plastic bowl half filled with damp sphagnum moss) when he's getting ready to shed. You could sprinkle water over the substrate (looks like paper?) to raise humidity but it will dry out again much faster than cypress mulch.
