BRB regurgitated before shed
Good even guys, I have a quick question. I literally just witnessed my BRB regurgitate a rat a few minutes ago which surprised me because He was opening his mouth and I assumed this was because he is about to shed and was trying to break the skin free.
The odd thing is that this meal was almost completely digested and had I not witnessed it, would have thought it was fecal matter and came out normally, this now makes me paranoid and has me wondering if he's done this before. He isn't rubbing his head on stuff yet but he was the blueish color about 2 days ago so in another day the shed will most likely come off.
A few other details, I just moved him to a 60 gallon last night which measures 48x15x17, the cool side is 73 and the hot side is 84. He seems completely fine and is currently just exploring his larger home and drinking a ton of water. He's even sort of looking around like he wants food but why on earth would he regurgitate a meal after it was eaten like 7 days ago? Thanks for any info forum members.
