jpsteele80 Member Join Date: Apr-2014 Location: Middle of Texas Age: 44 Posts: 1,463 Country:	Temp guns and readings. I have acquired an new animal that is coming in Tuesday and getting everything set up, my temp gun says the hot spot is 96, it doesn't feel like 96 to me so I went and got a cup of ice water and it said it was 36 degrees which does sound right, do any of your hot spot ( basking spots) not feel what your temp guns are measuring?
