My name is Matt, and I'm varanaholic. I'm an Architect / Designer from New City, NY. I'm returning to the herp game after more than a decade of absence due to life and the many stages and challenges that shape us as individuals. I'm also an avid golfer!

My list of varanids that I've had at one point or another: Nile, black throat, timors, savanahs, dumeril, ackies.

I was allowed to get one lizard this time around and jumped all in with a Pilbara Rock! I should've stuck to the ackies, but... I have a problem.

Of course the decade I was active, there was little humidity talk, and husbandry was much more simple. I'm learning as I go and soaking in the knowledge once again!
