moving again...

Hi all. I will be moving again this summer to a 1 bedroom apartment, which kind of eliminates my ability to have a snake room where they are kept away from foot traffic etc. I would like to use the snake cages to create a sort of 'half wall' near the front door, to divide the space and create some focal points in the room. There are 6 30inx24inx24in front opening melamine cages, stacked 3 tall, 2 across.

Do you think that being near the entrance to the apartment with increased foot traffic and potential drafts (i do live in florida though) would be detrimental to the snakes (all colubrids, and strong eaters)? My other option is in the walk in closet, but i was planning to have a cat box in there and i don't know if the mustiness and lack of airflow would also be a problem. Thoughts?
