Questions about racks-Pituophis and Drymarchon

Hello All,

I'm new to this forum, and to reptile racks. I've always used fish tanks and heat pads and sometimes an incandescent to for supplemental heat. It's worked great for me, but I'm ready to get more advanced caging.

I keep going between doing stackable cages and racks, but I am thinking racks are going to be better for me at the moment (have few snakes and I move around a bit).

I have had many reptiles and have always done small snakes in small enclosures for security, but I've read about people keeping smaller snakes in larger enclosures.

So I am looking into getting a 4-bin, CB-70 rack. What I'm unsure about is stressing them out with too much space. I am 99% sure the 2013 bullsnake will be fine (she is very well adjusted and actually FRIENDLY), but I don't have the 2013 cribo yet and am told they can be shy....what do you guys think about keeping these snakes in large bins?

Thanks!
John
