you ask how to knock a rat out,if your snake takes a knocked out rat,then it should take a fresh killed rat,as a knocked out rat won't move around
the best way to stun or kill a rat,is to hold it by the body and give the back of the neck, right where it joins the head,a fast hard knock onto the edge of a table or shelf,how hard you hit it depends on, if you want to stun it,knock it out, or kill it
imo sticking a needle into a rats head and through the skull to kill it,imo is causing uneccessary pain and stress/suffering to the rat,the rat deserves to be killed/euthinised in the fastest pain/stress free way possible
