Cool I 'built' a better mouse trap!

So, one of my hopper mice escaped last night/this morning some time. So, I invented a mousetrap to capture him alive...and it worked!!!

Sorry for the crappy pictures, I just took them on auto about 5 minutes ago.

All I did was get a rag and clip it onto a bin with steep sides (too high for a hopper mouse to jump), fill it with food (seeds, peanut butter, apple core) and place it in the dark beside my mouse breeder-bin. I made sure the rag didn't dangle inside so he couldn't grab it and climb back out. I left the lid partially on to make it look like a secluded hiding place...


I really only half expected it to work...


Here's the escape artist. Little rotter bit me twice while I tried to grab him...
