Aggressive or defensive behavior towards my pooch.
My new hog island boa has gotten out of it's shipping funk and has settled quite nicely except for when my border collie trots into the snake alcove, my dog pays no mind to my snakes whatsoever. The first time I witnessed this behavior i was chilling with my hog in my recliner then my dog comes plodding up to me for some scratchin and lovin and I heard the snake start to hiss and lightning fast he struck at my dog's face narrowly missing it. Needless to say now they are never in the same room together. All the snakes I have have never shown any defensive behavior towards my dog even my late BCI. What ya think? This happened to you?
