Honestly, I never thought that I would ever get a Tarantula, or any kind of arachnid for that matter. But I think it was a great step going through a slight paranoia of spiders. I never did like them on me, although I could always handle them being in the room and around me etc.

) an
un-sexed G. Rosea (Chilean Rose Haired Tarantula). (S)he is fairly young still, just measuring around 1 inch, got him/her at the Abbotsford Reptile Expo last weekend! Needless to say, (s)he is awesome and super tame! No biting or hair flicking so far.
