Chuckwallas at Picacho Peak

So I climbed Picacho Peak south of Phoenix AZ today. It was an enjoyable but challenging hike, the view was unreal (picacho rises 1500 ft above an otherwise flat desert floor), but the COOLEST part is I guess it's just the right time of year. There were chuckwallas EVERYWHERE on the upper plateau. I saw literally dozens. The coolest were two different males that had to be almost 24". They were also brave enough to let me get close enough for some good pics...
