Quick question about muti species

So we are building an elaborate reptile room in our garage this spring. One of the things I intend to have is a climbing structure like a ladder that goes from one wall to the other for our snakes to hang out on when we clean thier vivs or just want to give them some exercise. If I put lets say a boa up there and then a carpet will they " get along"? I assume they will but do any of you mix it up in the snake room and let multiple species mingle? I know not to add my king to this mix but other than him can I mix it up?
