On October 28th of 2011, my family and I had to put down our beloved dog Tucker. It was the hardest thing we have ever had to do. But after months of mourning the loss of Tucker we decided we were ready to adopt another dog. So yesterday my mom and I adopted a 11 month old Lab/basset Hound mix from a kill shelter down in Virginia. His name is Luke. Luke is in need of some hard core training, but that will come in time. But he is truly something. He is my other dog Dixie can't leave each other alone. It's so cute. So I thought I would show you guys a picture of the beautiful boy. There is nothing more rewarding then knowing you saved an animals life.
