Lucy update

These snakes are still touchy for sure but I am making progress. The female bit me a few times very lightly and didn't draw blood at all while holding her though she did take a good defensive strike at the camera, That was enough for one day so I put her back. The male didn't bite me at all but towards the end his vent started to get inflamed and I smelled musk so that was my Que to put him back. I think they are a cool snake and I am eager to breed them once the female gets more size on her and see how vicious the babies turn out. They make me appreciated our placid by comparison cornsnakes.
