I had to rush my puppy to the vet last night after he swallowed a blood pressure pill...he had to stay at the animal hospital overnight on an IV. I called this morning and they said he was doing really well. The vet is going to call me in a little while and tell me when he can come home. It was scary there for a little while last night. I felt horrible leaving him at the vet because he was so sad and howling...

I feel really really bad because I dropped the pill on the floor. He was there so quick and he grabbed the pill and ran under the bed and chewed the darn thing up. I'm going to have to make sure he is in his bed if I am getting pills out. Gibbs slap to the back of my own head. My punishment on top of getting the crap scared out of me about my dog...a $800 vet bill for the emergency services.
