Put it like this if you saw a random man beating a women (or child), you would step in correct?? (if not your a coward) Same goes with if your friend (ally) was in the same situation id assume you'd help right? and wouldnt consider it just sticking your nose in some one Else's business.
I hope i dont sound offensive at all, my father served in Dessert Storm in 91, and ive never heard anyone say they aren't grateful for his service. (not saying you said that at all) I understand you said from what you've been told, but in my humble opinion you've been told wrong.

I have nothing to say, seeing as i was 4 or 5 yrs old at the time, and know no one who served over there, i was probably told wrong.
I would intervien if i seen a woman or child getting abused, i would probably beat the guys *** for it too, but doing that is a little different in involving 2 or more countries in a war..
thats all im saying. I WAS TOLD WE SHOULDNT OF BEEN OVER THERE. i dont know one way or the other.
