Rescued Pitbull!

So, it's not herp related but, I wanted to share.

So, my mother was driving and saw this pitbull in the middle of an intersection, people swirving and honking to avoid hitting the poor thing, so she managed to get the big fella in the car and bring him home. Gorgeous boy, big goofy dog.

He obviously belongs to someone, he looks really well fed and he -really- wants inside. I'd let him inside but we've got other dogs and cats and we're not sure how he'd react.

I hope his family just lost him instead of dumped him and they find him. I'd really hate to see him go to the humane society. He's extremely friendly, but I'm not sure if he'd pass his adoption test or not. You just don't know. Plus, someone could show interest but have hidden intents in adopting him out(fighting, etc.). I know how hard it is to get a pitbull adopted, and how many there are because of the restrictions on them(no children under 12, big fenced in yard, and some other rule...), and also because they've got such a bad wrap.

My pitbull, Zoey, was in the Humane Society for a year before we came along and adopted her. She came in at 6 months of age, and left at a year and a half.

If worse comes to worst.. I just hope he finds a good home. We'd love to keep him, but we've got so many on our hands as is.. doesn't mean I'm not going to try and win over mom, though... LOL I can try ;c

And in advance, sorry for my 'baby' babble. ;c
