New users banned before posting...
I have noticed that some of you have been checking out user profiles of people who are banned with a zero post count, so I figured I could explain that.
Whenever a new person registers here, I do a complete background check of the user name, IP address and email address prior to allowing the first post to be made.
There is a database of known forum spammers and I check against that each time a new registration is filled out.
It's just like a finger print ID, If the new registration has been banned from other forums for spamming or just being a jerk, I am certainly not going to allow them here.
After all, when someone knocks on your door, you like to know who it is before you let them into your home, so I use that same philosophy here.
If anyone has "commited forum crimes" elswhere, we don't need them here.
