Pure Diamonds depending on where they are found "locally" in Australia have a wide variety of looks from almost solid black with small white rosettes to the high yellow ones with the washed out yellow where black would be & anything in between.
Diamonds like all "carpets" will naturally intergrade in the wild as well, Mark
edit - the one mentioned that could be a potential intergrade I would say the comment is based on how the "rosettes" are not really small/tight but large & almost band like in spots
