Waive du brain

I had me a bit of a brain wave today I was putting a wooden hide that I`m not going to use for snakes anymore, into my workshop for use with other things. Anyway, I noticed there was still a great big turd in it ! lol But that made me think... I`ve had problems with rats in my workshop and I can`t say I want to be sharing that space with vermin. You can see where I`m going here now can`t you? I`m thinking about dotting the odd bit of python turd around my workshop in the hope that the scent makes the vermin think twice about hanging out there!
The rats in the UK must still encounter snakes because we have two species, one venomous, that are big enough to eat them. I have heard of people getting tiger pee from the zoo to stop cats going in their gardens too so it`s a similar thing I suppose. What do you guys think? Anyone ever tried that?
