Over $1500 in prizes to be awarded in first T.A.R.A.S. Raffle

The Alberta Reptile and Amphibian Society is proud to announce that over $1500.00 in prizes will be raffled off at this weekends 20th Annual Spring Show and Sale. Proceeds from the raffle will go to the new EDUCATION & RESEARCH INITIATIVE program. Raffle tickets are $2 each, three for $5 or ten tickets for $10.

The first recipient of the funding. Magdalene Leung, will receive a cheque for $3000 towards her research on Eastern Short Horned Lizards in Southern Alberta. Magdalene will be at the TARAS 20th Annual Spring Show and Sale all weekend to present information to attendees and will receive her cheque at 2pm on Saturday April 25th.
