Wink Need some info? plz

Hey everyone,

Just wondering... when installing kane heat mats onto birch plywood..Do i have to worry bout the the mat burning the wood? Epecially if i use 4 coats of poly? And.. If 1 pad would properly heat a surface area of [ 72"x28"x18" ].
Im currently building a 3 cages in one wall fixture{ on top of one another] All
the cages will be the same length and depth. But one will be taller [this ones 4 my new b&w arg. tegu] And it will have a whole and screen centered on the top of the cage 4 the florescent, and the other whole on one far end of the top...[4 the ceramic bulb] The next two cages are the same in height, lenght and depth, But will be heated by one kane heat mat 4 each cage.
The plywood will be all straight cuts.[mostly..lol] The top cage will have sliding acrylic doors, with a litter dam.The two bottom cages will have drop down acrylic doors with old fashioned deadbolt type locks[ really cool lookin antiques]with the same cool lookin hinges [ 3 of them evenly spaced at the bottom of each. Just prepresenting my cages before i get some pics when my camera's fixed LOL.. "Let me know what u guys think"
