need help ASAP

about 2 and a half months ago my beardies laied 24 infertile eggs. now i noticed she was starting to act weird again scratching at the walls of the tank and running all over the tank. about 4 days ago i woke up and found an egg sitting in the sand. so i putt a shoe box in her tank filled with peatmoss as i did before. this time she did not finish laying her eggs. i don't think it is common for them to lay only one egg plus she is still scratching and acting weired. i'm really worried about her. i have been giving her baths and gently massaging her stomach. but nothing. should i just cover the face on the tank with a towel togive her privace. she just doesn't look like she has any eggs in her. please any help would be appreciated i don't want to spend money at the vet if not nessary.
