Talking thermoregulation in a rubbermaid

I want to set up a rubbermaid for my first ever BRB

(this is also my first ever non-aquarium housing for a snake)

Is rubbermaid, newspaper, and a heating pad with air holes all I need?

I mist once a day and have a water dish large enough for the snake to soak

this is all I need to do right?

What about making it cooler at night?

How do I do that?

Two heating pads or something?

Where do I get these "human heating pads" I hear about, do they have a thermostat?

Someone please tell me how to do this and where to buy the stuff. I've been looking real hard and I wanna do this.

Thanks
