Mites?!?!?

Tonight while doing a routine spot clean of my pictus tank i noticed little bugs crawling around, mainly in the substrate. Now they are tiny to small to describe but they were kind of transpartent orange. Now this freaked me out so i inspected all 3 of them very very closely and none of the bugs are on the geckos. If i stir up the substrate thats where i find them. I fed the geckos tonight and they ate fine. The male just finished shedding, they all look perfectly healthy. Now if they were mites would they not be on the lizards themselves? Does some one have a picture of what a lizard mite looks like? The substarate I use is bed a beast and when I used bed a beast for my ball python the same little bugs were in her enclosure. Could they be comming in the bed a beast? Is this somthing to worry about?
ps. when they were with my ball python same thing I never once found one on the python just when i stirred up the bed a beast. They never had any ill effect on my python and when I switched my bp to aspen I never seen them again.
I am a firm believer in bed a beast but I have a sneeking suspition these bugs are commin with the bed a beast. And with the last batch of bed a beast I expanded I found three small peices (1 inch long) of electrical wire in the brick!!?? Im seriosly starting to doubt the quality of this product. PM me if you want to know what brand I use.
