We bought this guy from a local petstore because I saw him and just had to own him - he was about 2 feet long at the time and advertised as a yellow ratsnake. We have shown him and his photos about various lists and experts and no firm conclusion yet - other than that he may be a striped bubblegum (has never had blotched appearance) or an albino everglades and is most likely some type of crossbred.
He is about 6 feet, a girthy, strong ratsnake. Vanan saw him in Red Deer and compared him to a bullsnake with respect to the powerful build - definately different from our corns. He is a wonderful 'show' snake - tolerant of all the kids and remains one of my favorites - just a pet - love his 'smiley face'.
