Ready or not...

Well my cage is done....mostly. It is done enough for who is going to be on the inside. It is just the outside aesthetics that need completion, such as the trim and legs, but that is for my benefit only.

Front – it’s sitting on the kitchen table for now, I don't really eat there anyways.




Right side - the door side (Velcro door currently) and you can see the little white temp sensor in the basking spot




Left side - you can see the nifty dual thermometer with hygrometer.




Well that is basically it. I wasn't happy with what I was making for the drip system. So I am waiting to see what is at the show. But misting brought the humidity up to 65% immediately and then 54% after 10 min. My basking spot is only 83°F with a 40W so a 60W or 100W is on my shopping list. Still doing some temperature monitoring for the 10°F drop but everything looks good. Already located a couple of choice leaves to feed from, but we'll see what he thinks.

Red Deer, here I come!!
(Just have to remember to bring my Import Permit!!!)
