Four-toed Salamander's nests

Hi!

This evening I went to look for Four-toed Salamander's (Hemidactylium scutatum) nests. I found two of them along with the salamanders in 15 minutes but I had to go back home because it was getting dark. I'll probably return this week to see if I can find more of them.

There was 19 eggs in the first nest and 29 in the second. Here are two pics, the first is showing the female and the eggs from the first nest found and the second one is a close-up of the eggs from the second nest with the female in the background.

Bye!
