Hog or not? (large pics)

Last year I purchased a snake that was sold to me as a Hog Island Boa from a breeder at a Reptile Expo. I thought he looked a little different than other Hogs I've seen, but I thought it may be because he was very young and his colors may change as he ages a bit.

My suspician rose a bit more yesterday when I got the April issue of Reptiles delivered to my mailbox. I'm looking at the different pics of Hogs and they look similar to other Hogs I've seen. Again, I look at the baby snake I purchased and it looks quite different to me. Mine doesn't have much spotting, faded blotchy patterns, or even the same tint of color common to the Hogs I've seen. Looking at the other pics they have in the issue mine seems to very closely resemble the hypo/orange phase Sonoran Desert Boa. He spends most of his time on a branch if that helps. Here are some pics to reference and compare to the issue if you have it or another means to compare or just have the knowledge I seek:

Although...after looking at these pictures I'm not so sure lol...maybe he is indeed a Hog. thoughts?

edit: just if some are wondering...he's a sweetheart and I love him either way and I like the way he looks. I just want to know what he is =)
