snakehunter Member Join Date: May-2003 Location: manassas virginia (USA) Age: 38 Posts: 1,516	what is it my ex friend owns a tortoise, which if werent so tame i woul release. he keeps it out side, feeds it every now and then, and has this weird shell disorder. it looks like some on took an ice pick and gouged some signficant holes in his shell. inside of these holes is a hard white substance. he says its shedding, but its had this for years! anyone know what it is? __________________ I got a bunch of snakes and a bunch of guns
