Question Hydration

hey guys I'm the proud new owner (since the Sept herp show) of a Nosy Be panther chameleon...he's from Connie @ Reptile Exotics and he rocks...

I'll post some pictures soon, I just want him to settle in

Anyway, on to my question....how do you ensure your chameleon is properly hydrated? I mist and mist and mist but I'm still not sure...I also know that misting isn't the best way....I *thought* once upon a time I read about showering them? Could someone clarify this?
