a guy here locally that raises greyband kings told this to me but for the moment I don't have the larger males for comparison. Anyway he says that looking at the shed tells the difference. The vent area of the female dry shed is supposedly much smaller with thicker edges around the hole, the male vent on a dry shed is more open and has thinner edges around it. Any of you shed keepers able to confirm or debunk this idea? It seems to agree with what I see on my animals sheds but again I don't have enough to make a good comparison.
