my childrens python is eating

To anyone who remembers " my children's python won't eat " my worries are over , he started looking unwell so thought , will have to try live food, out with the bird trap, caught some little brown house sparrows, ( they are pests in Australia) & Scottie just loves them . He had 2 on 1/3/18 & just had another 1 today, 13/3/18. that is only two feeds since 12/12/17. He looks healthier now, has shed his skin & is reasonably active. When do you think we should try another bird as when we tried him with a thawed small rat he didn't want it , was not even interested in it. Looks like we have a fussy python .
