Smile First Post!

Hi all,

I am Bill Parker, a conservation biologist living in Vancouver but travelling extensively throughout BC and sometimes internationally for different projects. I am currently working on projects involving a variety of species, with a focus on at risk species like Red-legged Frog, Northern Rubber Boa and Western Painted Turtles. Hopefully I will be working in the Okanagan, where there is an exceptional diversity of snake species which are grossly understudied.

I also spend some time at a research centre in Belize where the biodiversity is immense! It is an interesting compliment to my work in the "great white north". I look forward to learning from you all and sharing what I can with all of you.

All the best,

Bill
