Does the full moon effect your snakes?

For the last three mornings I have woken up to all three of my boys sleeping on the cool side of the cages... I feel kind of silly keeping the warm side going for them... You know, energy and all! and the room never seems to fall below 75 degrees. But that's not what this thread is about!

I never sleep good 2 to 3 days before a full moon and 2 to 3 days after... and I got to thinking, if any of you had noticed strange behavior around a full moon?

Re: Does the full moon effect your snakes?

sat, i am a retired R.N. i totally believe a full moon has an effect on people's behavior. the psych patients all get wilder and more combative when the moon is full. older patients get more confused. not only does the moon have an effect, but so does the time. there are more deaths in a hospital between the hours of 4am to5 am.

I don't really keep track of the full moon let alone any behavior during the time of a full moon. :/ That said, I have never noticed consistent strange behavior in any of my snakes or myself.

Yea I have had bouts of insomnia for the past 50 years... It's become quite obvious the moon keeps me awake... I got a whole 4 hours last night... Such is life!
