Frogs, lol. Never kept any. Had a snake that ate them. Trying to avoid crickets. As far as the open sides, I plan to plant the cage pretty heavily and its in a quiet section of the house so I am not woried about that. Worse case I cover three sides with cork bark or a black background.

So 4'x30x30" is no good for barons or red tailed rats? Dang it. Back to the drawing board then. May just do ATBs or GTPs. The barons and red tails really sparked my interest though.

You find me an arboreal frog that will eat frozen thawed mice and I am in. I'll give ya a few minutes.
