The easiest way to physically measure a snake is with a piece of string. Just start at one end and lay it out along the middle of the spine to the other end, then measure the string. That way the normal curves and bends don't throw off the measurement.

Why didn't I know of this earlier. Trying to get a snake to straighten out beside a measuring tape and stay in the right direction is quite the task.

I know how to measure her it's just i keep forgetting because it's not that high on my priority list. We just don't get hung up on what size she is or any of our other snakes are, as long as they're fit and healthy we're happy. If that came across as cheeky it really wasn't ment to , if you ever meet me I'm one of the most laid back people ever
