To feed or not to feed...

So Monty had been eating wonderfully the past two weeks, he just hasn't defecated. Should I continue to feed him or wait until his next B.M?

Re: To feed or not to feed...

I second this, bps can hold onto their poop for a couple feedings at least. My bp poops about every 2-3 meals. Of course, that means they're huge, though. He can lose up to 40 grams just from one defecation, which is just under 3% of his weight.

As long as they don't seem constipated, there's no reason to wait for a bowel movement.

Always feed on their normal days as scheduled. Plenty of water and the allotted humidity levels and nature will do the rest
