CRB Pattern loss?

Hello!

I was just contemplating how my snake may look as an adult, and I'm curious how the pattern loss goes for CRBs. Is it gradual starting from birth? Was there an age where the pattern loss really became apparent, or when you relly noticed it?

I'm secretly hoping my integrade keeps her patterning and looks like an earthy BRB when she is an adult, but she is my beloved sparklenoodle so I'd love her regardless! I'm just wondering about the CRB side of her

Re: CRB Pattern loss?

Give me a minute and I'll dig up some pics of mine throughout the last two years. It's a gradual change, and some keep their patterning better than others. My female has kept hers a bit better than my male. Also their pattern is slightly more noticeable when they get white walls at night.

Re: CRB Pattern loss?

My female, as you can see, she didn't change quite as much.

Aaagh, so pretty! All rainbows are so gorgeous.

Thanks for the pics of the change for your snakes - that's really helpful Chaska is at 80 grams now, and I haven't noticed any fading. Watching to see what happens will be fun.

I'm also really curious to see how she turns out, never seen any pictures of adults but yours is perfect. It can be hard to notice the fading until you look back on pics, really. Personally, I love my faded CRB's.

Re: CRB Pattern loss?

This is a pic of her in the first month I had her (around 40grams)

And the most recent one, taken in the last two weeks (around 70 grams). Still pretty bold lookin'. She's very young though, still!
