AGCs usually hold more orange than others, he'll probably turn to more of a yellow/orange though. If he was a Purple AGC instead of a lav he would probably hold more orange. Every animal is different.

I have never understood the rationale for moving to a feeding container since the only time I've ever been bit (or my kids) is moving a snake after feeding. Btw I recently had a boa that just blew up with mites and I mean bad and the product that decimated them was nature zone mite guard in a plastic tub, no substrate or water only paper towel

Yeah I only moved him up until somebody here told me it wasn't necessary. It didn't make sense to me either but a lot of people suggest it.
I got rid of my mite problem and he's in his wooden enclosure . Now I take the extra precaution of provent-a-miteing everything before it goes into his enclosure. Like branches and stuff that can carry the little pest
