Does this look like a brazilian to you?

It seems too dark to me.

Looks like a rainbow boa to me! Ask him if you can see pictures of the parents. Or maybe the people he bought the snake from have more info on the parentage and the genetics. See if they have any proof on paper or are willing to put something in writing about the genetics. It may be a Columbian Brazilian cross. Buyer beware. Make sure the Boa isn't sick too!

Looks like a Venezuelan or Peruvian rainbow. There's a few locals that bounce around.
Cliff would know best. It could be a Brazillian too.

I saw a great thread on here comparing Peruvians to Brazilians but I can't find it for some reason

It's definitely not a pure Brazilian at least, those side patterns are wrong. To my untrained eye it looks more like a Colombian, but I haven't studied much of the other rainbows, so it could be a mix or a Peruvian/Venezualan as Aaron_S said.

Re: Does this look like a brazilian to you?

Sorry, looks like I missed this. :-(

It looks like a baby Brazilian or Brazilian cross to me, hard to say for sure though from one dark photo. That price would be a steal though for a full Brazilian. Almost too much of a steal for my comfort.

In regard to Brazilians versus Peruvians, the latter tend to be more reddish and have thicker black dorsal markings. The two also have differing scale counts.

It almost looks like a Brazilian x Colombian cross to me, I see characteristics of both in there.

I'm not an expert in the slightest, but it looks a lot like my CRC/BRB integrade, so that would be my guess.
