No. They won't do anything, especially after 2 months.

Re: Here's my Retic

Make sure to retreat afer 1 week and then again after 2 weeks to kill any isolated mites and then the hatching eggs. Also treat areas around the enclosure and nearby draperies and furniture. Those mites travel and cover a wide area around the enclosure. And they leave eggs everywhere.

You should retreat after a month as well.

Re: Here's my Retic

If it would have been sooner Jay would have helped out but 2 months after prolly not, When i got Lord Voldemort he had fang face I had no idea how to fix it, I called them at prehistoric pets and jay himself called me back from his personal cell gave me the number to his personal cell so I could text him at anytime. Good luck with the mites though zoomed has some really good stuff when I got my burm had to treat her for mites and it kicked them couple of days.

Ugh... there's no need for the shots. The sprays work just fine and you don't have to waste money on the vet.

I tired the sprays and stuff and it didn't work, the ivermectin worked and he's doing great now, the reason I took Lorax to the vet was because the mites were in his eyes so I got worried.

On a positive note the mites are gone
neither Lorax or my tortise Speedracer have mites so I've been enjoying them both. Here's Lorax in the car with me, he has a spot where he hangs out when we go out. There's also another picture of him hanging out on the hammock with me.

Re: Here's my Retic

Then you didn't use the sprays correctly. You have to treat, and then retreat, and you actually have to use the good stuff, most of the junk that you can buy at PetCo/PetsMart doesn't work at all. You need a NIX solution or Provent-A-Mite (PAM). Whenever I get mites (hasn't happened in a LONG time thankfully) I remove the snake, spray the enclosure with PAM until it is a fog, and let it sit for an hour while the snake takes a bath in a 1 gallon to 1 ounce water to NIX solution bath. You need to repeat the process after 2 and 4 weeks to make sure the eggs are all dead.

He is a VERY nice AGC. Love the shot with him on the handle.

Re: Here's my Retic

I have provent a mite, I was just concerned with the mites that were in his eyes, mites are gone now. Maintaining the enclosure clean and he's doing very well. He loves that handle to cruise in the car
