Smile Loaning Python Guidance

Hello,

I am looking for advice about loaning my python. He is a Morelia Spilota Cheynei (Jungle Carpet Python origins in Queensland)

I have a 7 year old called Bluey, about 2m long and about 50mm diameter. As I am spending more and more time overseas, and my professional animal inspector friend is moving away (she looks after him when I am away as domestically, there is nobody around who is experienced with snakes other than her), I need to find another arrangement.

Ideally, I would like to loan him for a year or so by which time, I hope to be more settled in the UK again. If the loaner is doing a great job and wants to keep him, I would most likely, without prjudice, let him stay.

I am located in Worcestershire. I have a fully equipt viv of appropriate size and height with humidifier, 500W caged ceramic heater, auxillary carbon mat heating which can also be loaned.

Can anyone help or advise on a course of action?

Many thanks,

Angus
