How to keep humidity in a tank with a lot of ventilation?
It's cold in my apartment. How am I going to keep the tank at proper humidity. I plan to spray water everyday and she also will have a large water bowl. Any other ideas?

What kind of snake? Substrate? Some hold moisture a lot better then others.

For my planted vivs with screen tops I wrapped cardboard with tin foil and tapped it to the lid only leaving gaps for the lights and got my humidity from 20-40% up to 70-85%

Deep soil substrate and live plants are the two easiest ways to increase humidity, but it really depends on what your enclosure is like and what animal is in it.

Ya mine have 2 pathos and a kroton in each and 2" of subtrate as well. The covering of the top was what made the biggest difference for me.

Anything, really. Assuming you have a screen top, it could be as simple as laying magazines over most of the top. Or, something a little more professional like gluing plastic, coroplast, luan, plexiglass, or cardboard onto/into the top.

Huh. This kitty crumble looks pretty good, actually. It's coco husk. It should hold moisture well. Do you have it set up already? If you cover the screen top, wait a few hours and then measure the humidity - my guess is you'll be fine or close to it. Mist as needed if it's low. Make sure you have a digital hygrometer - those analog stick-on dials ar pretty worthless.
Btw, Black eyed lucys are maybe my favorite bp morph - so cool. Jealous!
