can 3 chams be in one room?

I am thinking of buying a trio of veileds (1 male 2 females) from what I understand the sight of other chams can make them restless/eggbound I plan to breed them in the future. but will they know other cham's are in the room? and if so will it make a difference? I have read all the caresheets i could find yet this wasnt explained. also if i was to put them in the same room would it be a bad idea to make the cages stackable/side by side?
oh yeah what is the best calcium to suplement them with i have herpcare stuff for my leo geckos but from what i understand veiled are plauged with mbd and i want to completely avoid that at all costs. what size of cages would you put young chams in? I was thinking just a couple of small screen cages i can get one for free then build the rest

Country:
my chams are all housed in the same room as my colubrids, boids, beardies, leos, and etc,.....never have I had a problem with the chameleons becoming egg bound, disease, not breeding, or any other problem for that matter. As long as you house them separately, feed separate, and keep them clean and fed well, it wont only keep them in tip top shape, but keep your other herp collection free of problems or disease.

No problem with them being in the same room at all. Just make sure they can't see eachother.

As long as you have proper lighting, dust once a week with calcium for growing veileds and gutload your feeders you should have no problem. Outside in the sun in the summer.

There's a good article on Calcium and Vitamin D3 here:

Hi Bryce!

I currently have 10 different chameleons in the same room.... so just as others have said, it's not a problem to do. Babies can be housed in a cage that is 18"x18"x30". You don't want to put them into something too big as they will have a problem locating food items. My adult male Veiled's are in cages that are 36"x36"x48".

I like this care sheet for Veiled's: http://www.adcham.com/html/taxonomy/...lyptratus.html

Hope this helps!
