tank cracked

I have a glass tank for my king and for some reason it cracked starting where the heat pad is stuck to the underside of the tank. I obviously don't want her getting cut so what's the best way to fix this? Aquarium silicon?

Re: tank cracked

This also screws my plan of making a viv unless I can make sure it won't leak

Re: tank cracked

If the crack is where you plan on having water, then I'm afraid that it will leak. That said, you should be able to give it a good coating of silicone sealant and give it time to properly dry and cure 2-3 days at least, and you should be good to go as a snake enclosure.
