Heating lamp

Hi everybody, I was wandering if this could be a good choice, she already has her uvb light and heating panels but the air temp is quite low at mid height. But I heard they dry too much and may be too strong, that's why I'm asking your kind opinion.
Thank you!

Re: Heating lamp

Pics of your setup would help. Temperature readings on hot and cool side of the enclosure.

Re: Heating lamp

Snakes do not need UVB lights. Any heat source will dry out the air and may be to hot with out the use of a temp. regulator of some sort. A heat panel or heat light can both work fine if sized to the enclosures need. To keep the enclosure from being to dry, you have to control the air ventilation to regulate the humidity levels.

Re: Heating lamp

Sorry, no pic at the moment :/ my parents own the one and only family camera... we're not the pictures kind of guys. ^^" My phone can't take pics. Can you just imagine that? Well, at least I may find a Titanoboa in my garden. Anyway a breeder convinced me to give up on this, he said there is no need if the enclosure is not 2 mt or taller. I'll think about it when I'll have the big one with the desertic spot and everything else ^^ Thank you all.
